My Current Running Goals

Running has been part of my life for more than twenty years and remains one of my major personal goals. My current direction is centered on returning to consistent training and gradually working toward the most ambitious running goal I have set for myself: a Sub-3 Marathon.

Building Back My Running Fitness

My first objective is to rebuild a strong and sustainable level of running fitness. Rather than focusing immediately on the marathon, I want to progress gradually and use shorter-distance performances to measure how my fitness is developing. A sub-45-minute 10K is my first major benchmark. From there, I plan to continue improving my shorter-distance performance before placing greater emphasis on marathon endurance.

The Sub-3 Marathon Goal

My long-term goal is to complete a marathon in under three hours. I see Sub-3 as a challenging but meaningful endpoint for my performance-focused running journey. Reaching it will require several stages of development rather than a single training cycle. My Sub-3 Marathon page covers the roadmap, performance benchmarks, and reasoning behind this goal in greater detail.

Looking Ahead

My current priority is to build consistency, improve my running fitness, and progress through increasingly challenging performance goals. Running is one of several areas I am currently pursuing alongside learning, business, travel, and building my community. The challenge is not only to pursue an ambitious running goal, but to make that pursuit sustainable alongside the other parts of my life.
